"Rescue Me[FDNY]" (known in Poland as "Wolanie o pomoc") one of the best series that I've seen lately. Tommy Gavin (performed by Denis Leary) is the New York firefighter with mental( He sees ghost of his friends from FDNY who died 9.11 in WTC including his cousin, and of all the victims that he didnt manage to save), alcohol and relationship problems. His wife left him becuse of his change after NY tragedy (though they still live next to each other separately in both of their houses), she wants to take their children and move away, but tommy sabotages her relaationships. In 1st season we mainly get to know all of the characters and hardships of the firefighters and I will say no more so there will be no spoilers . I jsut love series with Denis Leary, both Rescue Me and the Job are great "time wasters" xD (well to behonest Rescue Me is something like spiritual successor of the Job, both characters played by Denis are very similiar the only difference is work, FDNY in rescue me and NYPD in the Job) but the Job is comedy and Rescue Me is drama with comedy accents. I really recomend You Rescue Me and You'll see that You cant wait to know what willbe in the next episode (and wile waiting for it You can always see the Job )
